If someone goes through the trouble of ordering/printing it, buyin/selling it, and wearing it, at that point I’d consider it a real shirt.

I had WAYYYY too much water in the brush when I started loading. What a fricken mess. But, it was the end of the sample so it was either give it a try or not get to use Haverford one last time… So I gave it a try. Despite a liquid lather, there was enough slickness to get the job done and it was enjoyable enough!

I think buying an iPhone isn’t being frugal. Instead, you’re just being a good saver which in many ways is more important than being frugal.

Some people love technology and having the latest gadget brings them joy. You don’t sound like that type of person.

There are tons of Android devices out there with much better bang for the buck.

I thought this shave went decently well until I put the aftershave on… woof! After using a DE for a little while in order to finish a marathon, I’m getting back into other types of razors. Shaving with a straight isn’t much like riding a bike.

Yet another plug for the new version of the SDS. Some nice updates if I do say so!

In general, this is a bad idea. It enables bad management, pays people with the “wrong” money, puts Cranston at risk of not getting paid back, etc. If Cranston doesn’t get paid back by the previously mentioned bad management, then will all of the other lower-paid crew send Cranston some money?

1.1.2 will have a couple of neat additions.

1. You can enter the date you acquired something and it’ll tell you how many years you’ve owned it (for example “3.1 years”)
2. An attempt to fix misformatted Reddit posts, but I’m not holding my breath on the fix (two spaces after the title line).
3. Back to a single button at the bottom! No more having to “stage” razors or blades. Dope!

I’ll probably publish it tonight if I’m feeling frisky.

Nice shave! This razor is still quite usable but once I have some motivation I’m going to rub it on a 10k to freshen it up.

Developement of the SDS is continuing.

Recent updates to Baserow (the software that the SDS template runs on) broke some stuff, but I I think I fixed everything.

Yeah, both are fine. I switched away from KeePass because I was using Dropbox to take care of device sync, and it just didn’t feel right. Switching to Bitwarden was awesome for me because I self host it (Vaultwarden). It’s only accessible inside my home network, so mobile devices use a cached copy. If I need to add a new entry while away from home I can connect via VPN.

Fresh blade today. Didn’t feel a whole lot different than the P74 with 100 shaves on it, but it did feel slightly sharper. Less resistance on the chin, for example. Will I use the P74 again in the future? Maybe!

You can eference the outer edges for a satisfying before/after.

Use a password manager. Bitwarden has a specific “Card” entry type.

Nice improvement on mobile since the last time I played, but I got showed down by a lot of double typing.

Thanks! I never pictured myself “pushing” a blade this far because blades are cheap and it’s not worth getting bad shaves just to claim you got 100 out of a blade… But here we are. This thing just kept going.

I think it’s because people are still uncomfortable answering “atheist” on questionnaires and polls. It’s easier to say “no religious affiliation”, and most people are probably agnostic instead of atheist anyway.
